Happy new year!

This year we are back and better than ever. Lots of things happening this year! Our sister site DJMixes.org and its Forum: http://djmixes.org/forum is turning into a, high quality, thriving DJ and music listener community. We are also going to have a lot of cool events this year, 2 are already well along their way.

We’ve also got two BIG competitions to be announced very soon, stay tuned for that. Big thanks to Nell-lynn for giving us so much beautiful artwork to use for the shows, and Tara for her super sensual traaaaaaaaaaaanccccccce miiiixxxxxxxxxx voice overs :p, and Brioni for an incredible voice over. Andrew Shepard, a native of Canada, has been DJing since the tender age of 13 years. First started out in his bedroom, then he made his way into weddings, school dances and corporate functions… Now he plays in clubs, underground parties and has the occasional promo set.

Mix description:

Greetings folks! Andrew Shepard here! I hope you all had a great 2011, I am thankful that the year finally came to end, not saying it was a bad year, but it certainly wasn’t a great year for me… But on the plus side, I have many great new fans, and great listeners! Now to start off the new year with a mixset of mine .

In the 2nd hour of this set, you will hear my personal favourites of 2011… If you’ve been an avid listener of mine, you will recognize some of these tunes as well .

I’ve spent a large amount of time working on this arrangement (going back all the way into October), and this one is very personal to me. The theme for this mix set is “Winter Dreams”, and also, “Love”. Whether it’s the one you love dearly in your life, or the one you haven’t met yet. I feel that there is someone out there for all of us, some may have found them, I however, have not.

So as you sit back and listen, get lost in your emotions and your thoughts, enjoy it. Life is short, life is fragile. This one is for the girl I will spend the rest of my life with, but haven’t met yet…
