Trance Mix - Explore the World of Trance

Hello and welcome to Trance Mix.org. I want to congratulate you on finding our website :)

What is Trance Mix.org, and why should you care?

Trance Mix.org is the place where up and coming trance DJ’s and producers come to get their trance mixes and tunes exposed to wonderful trance fans like you. The trance mixes and tunes featured on Trance Mix.org are potentially from the future Armin Van Buuren’s, Ferry Corsten’s and Markus Schulz’ etc. This is all dependent on you, the listener.

Trance Mix.org mixes up the trance world by giving up and coming trance DJ’s and producers leverage by bringing them all to once place so that you can enjoy nothing but the best today’s up and coming trance DJ’s and producers have to offer. So all you have to do is click the iTunes or orange RSS subscribe button on your right and you will automatically have endless supplies of the best in trance delivered straight to you.

How is it that these trance DJ’s and producer’s success depends on you?

Well, the more listener’s Trance Mix.org gets like you, the more popular these DJ’s and producers will become. When you share trance mixes that you like with your friends, those DJ’s and producers you like will become even more popular, which will in turn help them to give you more of what you want.

Why would you want to listen to these trance mixes and tunes rather than listening to the more popular DJ’s podcasts?

The problem with the most popular DJ’s trance mixes and podcasts is that they have a rigid structure and weekly deadline to meet, along with all the other commitments today’s top trance DJ’s have. Whereas relatively unknown trance DJ’s have no way near as much pressure that comes with a huge audience. Therefore, the relatively unknown DJ’s have much more freedom when creating their trance mixes. Although the popular DJ’s trance mixes are great, you wont hear as much variety as you will in Trance Mix.org’s podcast.

How does Trance Mix.org work?

First of all, DJ’s and producers from all over the globe send us their productions. Then we listen to each trance mix or tune so that we can describe, in detail, the trance mix and/or tune so that you have more power over what you to listen to. Trance Mix.org team comprises of:

  • Dusan Stamatovich, also known as DJ Stamm. He pieces the episode together with his expert sound engineering skills and equipment (Dusan joined the Trance Mix team on Episode 106). If you want to get to know him better then you can add him as a friend on Facebook
  • Simon Kemp, also known as DJ Eski, and also known as Eskimon (producer). He joined the team to do the voice-over’s, but can offer TranceMix.org a lot more than that. Now Simon’s “eskipresents” fanpage is at over 130,000!

The history of TranceMix.org:

Hi, I’m Ben Bravery and i’m the creator of TranceMix.org. I started this site as a trance blog on December 10, 2009. My original idea for this site was to just make it into a trance blog about random trance things I would like to share with everyone. This idea was sparked by a work colleague who told me that I post a lot of trance videos on my facebook. So I thought to myself, “Why not just start a trance blog?”. I had also wanted to do something in the trance music industry for a couple of years but hadn’t really done anything about it, it just seemed like the right thing to do: I liked trance, and blogging about trance is a good way to get a foothold in the industry.

This is where the original blog began: http://trancemixx.blogspot.com/2009/12/trance-mix-ep1-ffxiii-vs-day-in-heaven.html

I was posting episodes daily, sometimes even more than that. Then, by episode 8 I decided to share DJ’s radio shows starting with #asot434. This eventually lead me to the idea of having bedroom trance DJ’s submit their mixes to my blog in exchange for exposure. So as I started to market this trance mix submission service I noticed quite a huge demand; a lot of DJ’s who are working hard to get noticed in the trance scene. So that’s when I discovered my mission with TranceMix.org: To ultimately provide bedroom trance DJ’s with a simple and easy way to catapult themselves into a professional DJ’ing career. The chance to have a career by doing what they love.

As I set out on this mission I thought why stop at just trance mixes? Why not expand the TranceMix.org mission into all areas of trance like production (tracks), events, radio stations etc… The list goes on. I then upgraded the look of the website to better suit what trance mix is all about. The theme is meant to be like an ipod with the functionality of you being able to scroll through the episodes, or just let it go on auto-scroll :) .

So that’s the history of trance mix.org, and how it came to be what it is today, thanks for reading :)
